Roll Off Joe

Rental Terms

  • All dumpster rentals are for 7 days and will automatically be scheduled for pickup on the 7th day.
  • If you complete your project early, please notify us, and we will make every effort to retrieve the dumpster sooner.
  • Pickup may occur up to 72 hours after the scheduled day due to routing and scheduling (not typical, but possible).
  • To extend your rental, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required, and additional daily rental fees will apply.


Delivery & Scheduling

  • Dumpsters may be delivered any time between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM on your scheduled delivery day unless otherwise arranged.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your delivery.


Prohibited Materials

The following items are NOT permitted in our dumpsters:

  • Heavy / Organic Materials: Dirt, concrete, bricks, rocks, sand, tree stumps, etc.
  • Hazardous Materials: Paint, oil, gasoline, flammable liquids, chemicals, automotive batteries, tires, etc.
  • Appliances & Electronics: TVs, air conditioners, refrigerators, computers, and similar items.


Weight & Loading Guidelines

  • Dumpsters are subject to weight limits based on your rental agreement.
  • Any tonnage exceeding the included amount will be billed accordingly.
  • Do not overload the dumpster — all materials must remain level with the top (“water level”).


Important

  • Overloaded dumpsters may not be serviceable for pickup.
  • If we are unable to remove an overloaded container, a $150 turnaround fee will apply.
  • Roll Off Joe is not responsible for debris falling from overloaded containers.


Access & Placement

  • The delivery location must be clear, accessible, and safe at the time of both drop-off and pickup.


Roll Off Joe's Dumpster Service Agreement for Premium Dumpster Services 

  • All rentals are 7-day rentals and will automatically be picked up on the 7th day. If you are finished with the dumpster before the scheduled pickup date, please notify us, and we will make every effort to retrieve the dumpster sooner. However, it may take up to 72 hours after the scheduled day for us to pick up the dumpster. This is not typical, but it can happen. If you wish to keep the dumpster longer than 7 days, at least 48 hours’ notice is required, and there will be a charge for each additional day. 
  • Unless specific arrangements have been made, your dumpster can arrive any time throughout your scheduled day. 
  • The dumpster must be paid for in full upon scheduling. 


We cannot process the following items: 

  • Organic Waste (dirt, concrete, tree stumps, bricks, rocks, stones, sand, etc.) 
  • Hazardous Waste (flammable liquids, paint, oil, gas, tires, automotive batteries, etc.) 
  • Appliances (TVs, air conditioners, electronics, refrigerators, etc.) 


We are charged by weight, so any additional costs for exceeding the maximum tonnage will be charged back to you. 


  • Do not overload the dumpster. The dumpster must not exceed the "water level." 
  • If the dumpster has been overloaded and items are placed over the top, we may not be able to pick up the dumpster. We cannot be held responsible for anything that falls out of the dumpster and causes damage. If we are unable to pick up a dumpster that has been overloaded, there will be a $150 turn-around charge for coming back.

  • If the delivery location is not accessible when we arrive to drop off the dumpster, or if the dumpster is blocked on the scheduled pickup day and we cannot remove the dumpster, there will be a $150 turn-around charge for coming back.
  • There is a 48-hour cancellation fee for any dumpster that is cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice. 
  • A bounced check fee will be applied if a check used for payment has insufficient funds to clear the bank. 
  • All credit card transactions have a 3.5% convenience fee. 
  • Invoices and payment confirmation receipts will be sent from "Trash Billing" - Waterbury, VT. 
  • We cannot be held responsible for severe weather conditions and may not be able to pick up or deliver your dumpster if such conditions exist. 
  • If the drop-off location contains any ice and/or snow, we cannot be held responsible for not delivering the dumpster. 


Legal Disclaimer:

  • Roll Off Joe is not responsible for damage caused by the customer's negligence during the drop-off, filling period, or pick-up of the container. 
  • Exceeding the fill-height recommendation can quickly add thousands of pounds of weight, which puts a strain on your driveway. Picking up the dumpster is also a process that can cause damage if the dumpster is exceedingly overweight. Should the container cause damage to asphalt or concrete driveways during loading and/or unloading, Roll Off Joe is only responsible if this was due to our negligence. 
  • We must have a signed copy of this service agreement prior to us delivering the dumpster. Please call or text us to schedule your dumpster for delivery.
